Overview

After a political protest goes wrong, Dorothy, a liberal speechwriter on an U.S. Senate campaign, discovers herself unemployed and also living back in her traditional Texas home town with her separated grandfather. Dorothy soon learns that her childhood years nemesis, Brent, is competing office as the sole Republican candidate.
