Overview
A TV adaptation of the Alexandre Dumas novel. Edmond Dantes is falsely accused by those jealous of his good luck, and is sentenced to spend the remainder of his life in the island prison, Chateau d'If. While imprisoned, he meets with a fellow captive, the Abbe Faria. The Abbe tells Edmond of some treasure hidden away to a small island, that he knows the place of. After many years in prison, the old Abbe dies, and Edmond escapes disguised because the body. Now free, Edmond has to locate the treasure he was told by the Abbe , so he will use the wealth to exact revenge.
