Overview
Sally Brown, a successful children's book author and Army widow, misplaces Buddy, the German Shepherd who belonged to her deceased husband, only to later discover that he had been adopted by a new family consisting of single father Mark Green and his teenage daughter Emma. While they argue about who should keep the puppy, each comes to realize the true meaning of the holiday.
