Overview
In 1934 Diego Padilla Matches Marianne Latour, a journalist and wins Chess' Spanish Championship, and they fall in love. At the end of the Civil War, Marianne convinces Diego to reside with their union, where after Diego will likely soon be accused of spying by the Nazis and imprisoned at an SS prison. In prison, Diego will take to to live thanks to Colonel Maier's passion for baseball in a hostile environment.
