Overview
Summer of '67 depicts the stormy times of the 1960s and the sufferings of those affected by the Vietnam War. Miller (Rachel Schrey) and her son are forced to live with their mother while Gerald (Cameron Gilliam) is away on the USS Forrestal. Bethany Davenport's character, Kate, must choose between her high school sweetheart, Peter, and her hippy boyfriend, Van. The draft steals Reggie (Jerrold Edwards) from Ruby Mae (Sharonne Lanier). Each woman wonders if their man will return, and if he does, will life ever be the same?
