Overview
By the age of twenty, Eduard Streltsov possesses everything a person could wish for: talent, celebrity, and love. He is the Soviet football's emerging star. The entire country awaits the national team's win at the forthcoming World Cup, where Streltsov will meet the legendary Brazilian footballer Pelé. However, two days before the team's departure, the sportsman's adversaries succeed in destroying his career. When it appears as though the door to great sport is permanently closed, Streltsov must re-enter the fray and demonstrate that he is a true champion deserving of everyone's love.
