Overview
In the not-too-distant future, an all-seeing monitoring state carries out "desire audits" to collect tax obligations on the unconscious lives of the people. Mild-mannered government representative James Preble takes a trip to a remote farmhouse to audit the desire for Arabella "Bella" Isadora, an eccentric, maturing artist. Going into Bella's large VHS archive, which consists of a life time of desires, Preble stumbles upon a key that supplies him an opportunity at love-- and also hope for escape.
