Biographic movie of the witty, overachieving, hot-tempered Rudy Giuliani, crossing out of his rising days as a New York district attorney within early 1980s for his marriage to part time celebrity Donna Hanover, to his candidacy for mayor of New York City and his contentious techniques to attack the city's offense and urban difficulties, in addition to his romance with his helper Cristyne Lategano which lead to the failure of his marriage, to his own struggle with prostate cancer, all prior to the terrible afternoon of September 11, 2001 which Guiliani himself narrowly escaped death after suicide terrorists hijacked and crashed two passenger airliners into the twin World Trade Center towers resulting in their collapse by which Guiliani's toughness and lively nature help calm the city's inhabitants to confront the chaos on such day which made him a hero.
