Overview
After his son Ned is drafted in the Army by the villainous Sergeant Major Peasy, Newyork trapper Tom Dobb becomes an unwilling participant in the Revolution. Tom tries to locate his sonand eventually becomes convinced he has to sit and struggle alongside the aristocratic rebel, for the freedom of their Colonies Daisy McConnahay. The war's events unfold in grandeur as Tom destroys his change of heart.
