In New York City, a public auction is being held, where countless valuables are being bidded. One of the things was an ordinary ring which is more valuable than it looks. Lupin attempts to bid on it, however was out quote by a dollar. So he swipes it instead as well as makes a getaway. but just to find himself welcomed by a group of hirelings who are benefiting the person who out bid Lupin. Lupin provided the ring as he was told, and got away from their firing weapons. Lupin makes a decision to take his buddies to check out that outbid him at the public auction. The one that outbid Lupin, is Cynthia, head of "Bank of the Globe" among the largest and just recently brand-new banks.
