Overview
Eli moves into the farm of reclusive Waylon, a person whose past threatens to over take him with his family. The family of eli works to restore the areas, while he becomes captivated by the forests. While on the plantation, Eli matches the cryptic Amanda when she gives an apple to him. The next day she extracts a promise from him to prevent the woods. Reeling from a brutal encounter with his father he breaks this promise and finds out her body hanging from a tree.
