Overview
Police Chief Jesse Stone now presides over the quiet, seaside village of Paradise, Massachusetts once a la homicide detective. When the facts don't add up at a barbarous murder case that is Boston-area, Jesse opens a study filled with surprises, unlikely suspects and danger. Jesse suspects yet another killer is at large and is hell bent on bringing him to justice though it's widely believed the murder was perpetrated with an unknown serial killer.
