Overview
Founded on a Thai erotic novel, the film tells the story of Jan, a boy who grows up in a house lorded over Luang Wisnan, by his debauched and sadistic daddy. Place in the 1930?s the narrative recounts the growing distress of Jan, whose mother dies while giving birth to him and who's profoundly hated by his own daddy. Jan grows up with Aunt Wadhis step mother, and he struggles to reconcile his own guilt and longing with various women in his lifetime, for example a lady called Hyacinth, whom he adores, and later Madame Boonleunghis father's enthusiast who becomes a key to Jan's sensual awakening.
