Overview
Marcus is a youngster who lives on the rough streets of New York. He's 15 years old, his father is dead, and his mother is in prison for smuggling undocumented people. His grandmother is taking care of him. Close friends: He has four of them. They shoplift and then sell the goods to kids. They have a clubhouse in the basement. There are some people who want to sell drugs. The city is too much for Marcus. He wants to take a break and go to New Mexico to see his family. Meet Melena,14, who is sweet and wants to go to Alaska; her father is angry and doesn't talk to her. She wants to go to Alaska. There are people in the gang who want Marcus to do more things like break ins and steal cars. He just wants to breathe the fresh air. Everything can't go wrong.
