Overview
Friends of students have booked passage on the fishing trawler Harbinger to study global warming's effects on the pod of Orcas from the Bering Sea. Matters become utterly mortal After the team of the ship dredges up a thawed little bit of old space wreckage. It appears that the Russians experimented critters that are miniature resilient able to resist the extremes of space radiation. The creatures lived, however, not without mutation. Now the team is vulnerable to creatures that were harshly mutating. And the animals are not about to give up the warmth of human companionship.
