Overview
Teddy Duncan's Middle Class family on a road trip from their home in Denver to See Mrs. Duncans Parents, the Blankenhoopers, in Palm Springs. Once they are stranded between Denver and Utahthey try to hitch a ride into vegas with a normal bunch in a station wagon. It turns out that the couple considers they are the victims of alien abduction. The Duncan's must resort to buying a clunker Yugo to get to Utah, have their luggage and survive a Christmas with Grandpa and Grandma Blankenhooper.
