Overview
During Nazi occupation, red-headed Bent Faurschou-Hviid ("Flame") and Jørgen Haagen Schmith ("Citron"),'' assassins at the Danish resistance, simply take orders against Winther, who is indirect contact with Allied leaders. One shoots. Until 1944, they kill Danes. Then Winther supplies orders to kill Germans. When a target informs Bent that Winther's with these to settle private scores, doubt sets in, complicated. Additionally, some one inside their group is actually just a traitor. Could Bent and evade capture, Jørgen kill an über-target, and live the war? And is that heroism, naiveté, or even mere hate?
