Overview
The second of Trier's films known together as the Europa trilogy. The other two films in the trilogy are The Element of Crime (1984) and Europa (1991). The film targets the screenwriting procedure. Vørsel and von Trier and with themselves drama with, inventing a last minute script to get a producer. This narrative is intercut with scenes from the film they write, by which von Trier performs with a naturopathic physician attempting to cure a modern day epidemic.
