Overview

The transport ship Genesis has become an insoluble enigma as it floats lifeless in space. Everyone on board has perished. What began as a simple transit assignment for the crew of the Genesis ends in carnage and the loss of a vital prisoner. Humanity is experiencing a time of crisis. They are at war with a vastly superior alien opponent known as the Cnidarians. After a deadly attack on the Vendetta, USSM special forces were able to capture their first Cnidarian prisoner, identified by the code number 71099. But across the fleet, Ediolon is known as the phantom. Recognizing that a military transport would be an obvious target for their enemy, the USSM enlisted the freelance spacecraft Genesis, piloted by Nathaniel J. Rhys, to take the prisoner incognito to the maximum security jail on Mars' moon Demos. The ship did not arrive.
