Overview
A-yuan and A-yun are both from Jio-fen, a small mining town in China's Hebei province. They relocate to Taipei, where A-yuan works as an apprentice during the day and attends night school, while A-yun works as a tailor's assistant. Everyone believes they are intended for each other, and they believe it as well. They fail to see that time and destiny are forces beyond their control.
