Ten years has passed because the confrontation between Kira and L. Again, Shinigami transmits passing notes into the ground and for this reason, the entire planet soon falls into chaos. Tsukuru (Masahiro Higashide) is a member of the Death Note special task force team with 6 other investigators including Matsuda who experienced the Kira instance of ten decades ago. Mass murders brought on by the passing note takes place on Wall Street at the U.S., Shibuya in Japan and other regions. Renowned private investigator Ryuzaki (Sosuke Ikematsu), who is the successor of L, also investigates the bulk murders. They detect that 6 passing notes is present in the entire world. A computer virus named Kira spreads on earth. An email in the Kira virus says to turn in 6 passing notes. Someone that has 6 passing notes conquer the entire earth. The confrontation starts involving the person who desires the people who need to stop it and Kira's resurrection.
