Overview
Sgt. Major John Frost returns from his last deployment a month early, just in time for Christmas. His wife Jill and son Jimmy are too busy to welcome him, so they've adopted a puppy named Charlie. Charlie encounters a homeless Vietnam vet, Hank, who has had a heart attack, at the Moose Lodge. To give the veterans a nice Christmas Eve and a fresh start in civilian life, John rallies friends, family, and the community.
