Overview

DeeDee contributes to her hometown Trooper, with her 11 year-old son, 13 years after she ran off with her boyfriend. Her childhood best friend, Sam, is married and he and his wife, Lydia, would be the veterinarians of the town. Later Sam tells her that they were best friends growing 18, lydia is really a bit wary about dee dee and dee-dee was his very first crush. However, dee dee and Trooper find their way into many hearts of the townspeople with their helpfulness and friendships. DeeDee sets up a candlemaking business around square and invites a number of the ladies of their town to candle manufacturing parties, and she and Lydia become friends. 1 evening after dinner with Sam and Lydia, dee dee tells Sam she doesn't have to live and she's very sick and she needs his help to find a family in town to embrace Trooper. Sam tells Lydia every thing plus so they opt to embrace.
