Overview
Jim Garry, a wandering cowboy, is portrayed by Mitchum. Garry rides into an Indian reservation after getting a job offer letter from the smooth-talking Tate Riling (Preston), and he finds himself in the center of a feud between cattle ranchers and homesteaders. Garry is unaware of the fact that Riling, the man for whom he currently works, is a dishonest businessman.
