At the twentieth century, at a tiny village in Ireland, Redmond Barry is really a young farm boy in love with his cousin Nora Brady. When Nora engages to this British Captain John Quin, Barry struggles him. He escapes into Dublin and wins, but is attacked in the street. Without any other choice, Barry joins the British Army to fight in the Seven Years War.
