Over the centuries just couple of campers risked to go across the northern route of the silk road that today depends on the region of Kazakhstan. In this part of Oriental desert there was no place to develop an impressive city nor anything else worth fighting for. Till in 1955 the Soviet government knew that those lands, far as they might be from the rest of the Globe, were just one step far from the Universe.
