Overview
Berlin at June of 1940. While Nazi propaganda celebrates the victory over France of the regime, a room in Prenzlauer Berg is full of despair. Anna and Otto Quangel's son has been murdered at front. This working class couple had long believed in the'Führer' and followed him willingly, but today they realise that his promises are just lies and deceit. They begin writing postcards at a bid and as a kind of resistance! Kill Hitler! Putting their lifestyles they distribute these cards at tenement buildings' entrances and at stairwells. However, the Gestapo and the SS are them onto, and their neighbours pose a threat.
