Overview
The movie follows Chinese American Suzie who draws on her household's cultural customs to enliven an old-fashioned Xmas cooking competitors. Suzie, a climbing young engineer, go back to her little hometown in Maine for Xmas where her Chinese American family runs the neighborhood Lobster Bar. Following the loss of her precious grandma who was a prominent baker in their community, Suzie is guilted into adhering to in her grandma's footsteps bei going into the neighborhood gingerbread house competitors. Partnering with an old secondary school close friend Billy, who grew up to be catch, Suzie must discover the ideal recipes and mix of sugar and spice to win the competition as well as possibly discover some love in the process.
