Thirty-something Hillary Burns has spent his life trying to find the approval of her parents Meredith burns up, her judgmental mother, thus far without success. Part of this endorsement for Hillary is to marry the man. This is exactly why Hillary is therefore joyful that she is engaged to successful lawyer Jason King, who she will buy to meet with up with the family for the first time at their Thanksgiving get-together weekend in a week.
