Overview

Trained in clandestine combat from childhood, the Jinyiwei are all masters of the 14 Blades. Eight being for torture, five for killing, when a mission collapsed and the blade allowed for suicide. An elite force of confidential agents having a permit to kill, and the Jinyiwei devoted their own lifestyles and deadly art to the service of the Emperor. Whenever the Imperial Court is absorbed by evil eunuch Jia (Law Kar Ying), the best of the Jinyiwei, Qinglong (Donnie Yen) is assigned to steal a list identifying those loyal to the Emperor. Nevertheless unbeknownst to Qinglong, the Jinyiwei have fallen under the control of Jia, also throughout the assignment Qinglong is barely escapes with his life and betrayed. Qinglong must search outside and rally the loyalists reestablish the Emperor to power and to rise against Jia now as the most wanted man from the land. Will be the most deadly assassins his brethren, from the land, the Jinyiwei.
