The Victim explores death not as closure, but as the beginning of unresolved terror driven by obsession, guilt, and desire. The film splits itself into two narratives—a haunting slow-burn about an actor entangled with restless spirits, and a rushed “film within a film” twist that shifts focus to a less developed story. Despite strong atmosphere and performance in its first half, the divided structure ultimately weakens what could have been a far more powerful horror experience.
