The film captures the restless spirit of young people navigating their identities and desires during a time of cultural change. It also highlights the differences between the traditional South and the more progressive North of Italy, through the interaction of northern girls and southern boys. Family viewing is advised, though in one nude scene, Vittoria Puccini’s hairy vagina is clearly visible.
