Nuclear opens with a mysterious and intriguing setup, but diverges into a slow-paced melancholic drama that leaves its title largely unfulfilled. While the performances and music are commendable, the lack of character depth, unexplained plot points, and minimal conflict distance viewers from the emotional core.
